Half Beef (Standard or Custom)

Update 3/1/26: We still have one standard Half Beef available for March. You may reserve here, or contact us at sales@kinlochfarm.com. This will be available at the end of the month.

Our half beef selection is an economical way to fill your freezer, and offers the option to customize if you choose. It also feeds two people for a year, or a family of four for about 6 months!

When placing your reservation below, please select your processing date from the drop down menu, and your choice of either a custom half beef or standard half beef. When you reserve a standard half beef, you'll save $50!

The cost of our butcher's standard half beef is $2,200* + tax, and includes a take home weight of about 160 lbs. of beef! You may view a sample cut sheet here. 

Placing Your Order:

You may reserve online here. If you select a custom half beef, we will contact you with instructions for completing your cut sheet. Standard half beef orders will receive an order confirmation and notification when your beef is ready to be picked up at our Farm Store in The Plains, Virginia.

Note: If you prefer to be invoiced, with final payment due at pickup, please contact us by email or phone at 540-253-5266 to reserve.

Picking Up Your Beef: 

Your beef will be delivered to our farm store by our processor and may be picked up directly at our Farm Store. Coolers are only recomended if you travel a long distance.  

We kindly request all pickups take place within seven days of notification. Please let us know as soon as possible if your plans change or you need more time. Life happens!

At pickup, you'll receive a gift from our team to you that showcases our commitment to utilizing the whole animal!

Our Processor: 

We currently utilize Seven Hills Food Co., a USDA-inspected facility in Lynchburg, VA. The final product you receive is prepared by Seven Hills.
